Tri Star Freight System, Inc. is a family owned and operated company committed to providing secure transportation of your cargo with our safe and reliable fleet of owner operators.

Since 1987, our business has operated on the foundation that “Our Product Has Always Been Service.”  This is what has set us apart in the transportation industry.  Our team of dedicated employees understand the importance of every customer.

We offer services in Intermodal, Van, Flatbed, and Customized Warehousing, including container stripping and stuffing, crating, storage, transloading and inventory management.  Tri Star is a bonded carrier, C-TPAT Certified, Smartway Partner and Certified Woman Owned Business.

History

After a steady career in the trucking industry, Kenneth Garrison made the decision to open Tri Star in 1987 moving Military Household Goods. With his wife Laura at his side, they put in endless hours and hard work in an effort to expand the business. High standards and trust set Tri Star apart from competition.

Their three children have also grown with the business, seeing firsthand what it takes to be a success. Mr. Garrison passed away in 2008 and the children immediately began to carry on his legacy. Kathleen Garrison Nance began her career at Tri Star in dispatch, while her brothers started on the ground floor in the warehouse.

Today, Kathleen serves as President of Tri Star and her brothers, Keith and Kevin, serve as Senior Executive VP’s. Mrs. Garrison continues to work in the company and is very involved with the day to day operations. We want each of our employees to feel that they are part of the family and to uphold the values set forth over the years. It is important for each of us to remember and reach for the common goal as we move toward the vision and the next 30 years.
